Children's Ministries

Our goal for the children's programs at FBCLA is to provide a safe and enriching environment for youth, nursery through 5th grade. We want them to understand more about God; make long lasting friendships and learn from positive role models who teach our Sunday school classes and small groups. And, oh yes, we want them to have fun as well.

From the pristine-clean nursery to the skit-based chapel program, we want to make "Every Sunday a Fun Day" where children will feel welcome and comfortable the first visit and anxious to come back the next week.

Sunday Mornings

Preschool through 5th grade, our kids are learning new truths from God's Word every week. We are blessed with experienced; loving teachers who help make the Bible come alive in creative and exciting ways for your child

Nursery

Our Nursery here at FBC ministers to more than 10 babies on any given Sunday morning. We also provide care to children through 3 years for the many events that take place throughout the year.

Awana

AWANA is a Christian youth organization for ages 3 through the 12th grade. We meet Wednesday evenings during the school year. Grades 6-12 meet from 5:15-6:30PM and 3 years-5th grade meet from 6:45 - 8:15PM.

Worship and the knowledge of music are vital parts of a child's spiritual growth. A fully graded Children's Choir program (K-8) meets Sundays at 6:00PM in Burkhart Hall with an excellent staff of qualified leaders committed to teaching children spiritual concepts while experiencing and learning music.
