Sunday Night Seminars- 2007

Sunday Night Seminars are back.  Come at 5:30PM for dessert and coffee in the Gym.  We’re offering the following seminars:

Creative Writing Group:  Nancy Bowker will be leading the first ever FBCLA Creative Writing group using the Amherst Writers and Artists Method.  This method helps unleash the writer in you in a non-pressure, non-intimidating, and affirming environment.  You will have a wonderful experience and meet new people.  If you have questions, please e-mail Nancy at nbowker@comcast.net.  Creative Writing meets in Room 521. 

10 Keys for Unlocking the Bible:  This video course is a non-threatening way to introduce family and friends to the Bible.  Each session of this seminar is just thirty minutes.  We’ll watch the video together (25 minutes) and then talk (5 minutes) about what we’ve learned.  Because this seminar is just 30 minutes each week, this would be good for your seeking friends.  Join Pastor Darren in Rm. 525 for the first week and then starting week 2, in Rm. 524.

Faith in Grace: Various videos on Christianity, science, and life. Moderator: Mark Chen. This seminar will be meeting in Rm. 211.

Biblical Hebrew:  You fearless students can continue to meet with Greg Cook to continue your exploration of Biblical Hebrew.  We’ll continue to meet in Rm. 522.  Happy studying and Shalom!

Sunday Night Seminars end on Sunday, May 6.  We will not have seminars on Easter Sunday, April 8.
