Missionaries of the Week:

Jon & Karen Finley

finley

Jon and Karen minister with a team of missionaries and French pastors in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. Through their missions agency, WorldVenture, they have purchased and renovated a large house, which they have named OIKOS.  Jon and Karen and their three little boys, Samuel (age 6), Michael (age 3), and newborn Nathanael, live on one floor of the house with rooms for as many as six 1-2 year interns on other floors.  Jon is involved with training these young people for evangelism and church planting.

Jon and Karen are praying that they will fill OIKOS house with trainees and that they may be able to move into their own home in the same neighborhood.  Karen is a native Frenchwoman and a kindergarten teacher.  Jon is now so French that new friends are amazed to hear that he is from California.

Please pray for Jon, Karen, the boys and all who make up their team at OIKOS.
