Missionaries of the Week:

Paul and Janie Hutton

huuton

Paul and Janie began serving in Tegucigalpa, Honduras as broadcast engineers at missionary radio station HRVC in 1966.  In 1968, they returned to HRVC as career missionaries with MTTA.  Later, Paul became station manager and began training a Honduran for the job.  After nationalizing the station and leaving it in capable Honduran hands, the Huttons moved to Hawaii in 1977 and spent 16 years ministering at KAIM radio and International College and Graduate School.

In 1993, Paul became Missions Door Director of Ministry for Central America, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.  More recently, as the fields have grown, others have taken responsibility for Haiti and the Dominican Republic and Paul directs Central America.  He travels much of the time, consulting with and encouraging mission personnel, made up now of more nationals than North Americans.  Paul and Janie understand well that dependence on God for wisdom and direction is essential in this ministry and ask for your prayers that they rely on God’s counsel for the decisions they need to make.
